Oracle Public Cloud si arricchisce con i servizi offerti dall’azienda leader nelle applicazioni di Talent Management nel Cloud

  • Oracle ha annunciato oggi di aver concluso un accordo per l'acquisizione di Taleo Corporation (NASDAQ: TLEO), azienda leader nelle soluzioni cloud per la gestione delle risorse umane. L’accordo è stato chiuso a 46 dollari ad azione pari a circa 1,9 miliardi di dollari, al netto del credito e del debito di cassa. Taleo Talent Management Cloud aiuta le organizzazioni ad attrarre, sviluppare, motivare e trattenere i migliori talenti per migliorare le prestazioni e guidare la crescita.
  • Insieme, Oracle e Taleo hanno come obiettivo quello di proporre un'offerta cloud completa per permettere alle organizzazioni di gestire al meglio tutte le dinamiche del personale. L’unione delle competenze di Oracle e Taleo consentirà ai dipendenti e ai manager di gestire in maniera efficace le carriere, permetterà alle organizzazioni di trattenere i talenti, di ottimizzare i costi e di aumentare l'esperienza del dipendente attraverso un più veloce inserimento e una migliore collaborazione attraverso i social media.
  • Il Consiglio di Amministrazione di Taleo ha approvato all'unanimità l'operazione. La transazione dovrebbe chiudersi a metà 2012, periodo nel quale sarà soggetta ad approvazione degli azionisti Taleo, ad alcune convalide normative e alle usuali operazioni di chiusura.
